21 липня болгарський парламент ухвалив рішення щодо відправки Україні 100 броньованих машин зі складів міністерства внутрішніх справ країни.
Бронетранспортери вилучать саме із запасів МВС, а не армії. Згідно з експертними висновками міністерств оборони та внутрішніх справ країни, Болгарії ця техніка не потрібна, тому її передача Україні не нашкодить обороні.
Передача БТР є першим випадком прямої поставки важких озброєнь Україні від Болгарії.

On July 21, the Bulgarian Parliament decided to send 100 armored vehicles from the warehouses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Ukraine.
Armored personnel carriers will be withdrawn from the reserves of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, not the army. According to the expert opinions of the ministries of defense and internal affairs of the country, Bulgaria does not need this equipment, so its transfer to Ukraine will not harm the defense.
The transfer of armored personnel carriers is the first case of direct delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine from Bulgaria.
