Польща направить 2000 військових на кордон із Білоруссю, повідомив 9 серпня заступник міністра внутрішніх справ Польщі Мацей Васік.
“Це буде посилення на тисячу солдатів – до двох тисяч. Таке рішення ухвалив Комітет безпеки та міністр оборони Маріуш Блащак”, – сказав Васік.
На думку Васіка, прикордонна охорона вимагає відрядження додаткової тисячі солдатів на польсько-білоруський кордон.
Васік зазначив, що зараз усі спроби нелегального проникнення мігрантів до Польщі організовують білоруську владу.
“Якби з того боку від нас були справжні прикордонники, а не контрабандні служби, цих переходів взагалі не було б”, – сказав Васік.
Білорусь розпочала військові навчання біля кордону з Польщею та Литвою.

Poland will send 2,000 troops to the border with Belarus, Polish Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Maciej Wasik said on August 9.
“This will be an increase of one thousand soldiers – up to two thousand. Such a decision was made by the Security Committee and Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak,” Vasik said.
According to Vasik, the border guard requires the deployment of an additional thousand soldiers to the Polish-Belarusian border.
Vasik noted that now all attempts of illegal entry of migrants into Poland are organized by the Belarusian authorities.
“If there were real border guards on that side of us, and not smuggling services, these crossings would not exist at all,” said Vasik.
Belarus has started military exercises near the border with Poland and Lithuania.
