На Хмельницької АЕС планують звести два енергоблоки за технологією американської компанії Westinghouse.
Уряд України ухвалив рішення про початок будівництва на Хмельницькій АЕС двох енергоблоків “АР 1000” за технологією американської компанії Westinghouse.
Цим Україна остаточно відмовляємося від російських атомних технологій у своїй атомній енергетиці.
Вже все готово для розроблення техніко-економічного обґрунтування будівництва блоків, а також процедури сертифікації технології в Україні й ухвалення закону, необхідного для реалізації проекту.
Джерелом фінансування стануть кошти “Енергоатома”, а також кредитні кошти.
Вартість будівництва одного енергоблока передбачається 5 млрд USD. Обидва блоки будуватимуть паралельно, оскільки це економічно доцільніше.
За прогнозами, будівництво може бути завершене орієнтовно у 2032 році.

Two power units are planned to be built at the Khmelnytsky NPP using the technology of the American company Westinghouse.
The Government of Ukraine decided to start the construction of two “AR 1000” power units at the Khmelnytsky NPP using the technology of the American company Westinghouse.
Hereby, Ukraine finally renounces russian nuclear technologies in its nuclear energy sector.
Everything is ready for the development of the technical and economic justification for the construction of the blocks, as well as the procedure for the certification of the technology in Ukraine and the adoption of the law necessary for the implementation of the project.
The source of financing will be the funds of “Energoatom”, as well as credit funds.
The cost of construction of one power unit is estimated at 5 billion USD. Both units will be built in parallel, as it is more economically feasible.
According to forecasts, construction can be completed approximately in 2032.
