Гелікоптер із керівництвом МВС України, що розбився у Броварах, МВС Аваков купив у Франції у 2020 році.
18 січня вранці у місті Бровари Київської області впав гелікоптер Державної служби України з надзвичайних ситуацій. В результаті загинули всі дев’ять осіб, які перебували на борту, серед них міністр внутрішніх справ Денис Монастирський, п’ять представників МВС та три члени екіпажу.
Під час падіння гелікоптер зачепив будинок дитячого садка та багатоповерховий будинок, внаслідок чого загинули ще кілька людей на землі, зокрема діти.
Гелікоптер – це Airbus Н225 Super Puma. Від нього відмовилися Польща та Норвегія.
За інформацією ДСНС, у Броварах розбився гелікоптер ЄС-225 (бортовий номер 54). Його було отримано українськими рятувальниками від Франції у 2020 році.
У 2018 році Україна та Франція підписали угоду про купівлю 55 гелікоптерів виробництва Airbus, 21 з них – це модель H225. Для створення єдиної системи авіаційної безпеки та цивільного захисту у грудні того ж року в Україну прибули перші два вертольоти H225 Super Puma, на 2021 рік Франція вже передала 16 гелікоптерів. Вони були спрямовані на потреби МВС, зокрема Нацгвардії та Державної служби з надзвичайних ситуацій. ДСНС використовувала ці літальні апарати для гасіння масштабних пожеж та інших надзвичайних ситуацій.
Французькі гелікоптери були не новими. Згідно з контрактом, машини моделі H225 були у використанні у 2009-2012 роках і мали ступінь зносу основних вузлів та агрегатів у середньому 50%.
Такі гелікоптери використовують низку західних країн. Після продажу Україні вони проходили ремонт, дообладнання, а також модернізували їх під пошуково-рятувальні операції.
Французькі ЗМІ у 2018 році писали про судові позови проти французької компанії Airbus Helicopters, оскільки в їхніх гелікоптерах знайшли “вроджену” несправність, при якій вони можуть іноді втрачати в польоті гвинт, що страждає “потенційно катастрофічним збоєм у конструкції”. Таких висновків дійшли експерти після авіакатастрофи з цим вертольотом біля берегів Шотландії в 2009 році, коли розбилися 14 людей.
Близько 10 років тому Норвегія замовила компанії Airbus партію гелікоптер EC225LP Super Puma, щоб здійснювати польоти на бурові установки Північного моря. Однак у квітні 2016 року один з гелікоптерів розбився, загинули 12 людей. Експерти заявили, що в коробці передач гелікоптер Super Puma було виявлено серйозну проблему, пов’язану з пошкодженням підшипників. Після цього Норвегія та Польща відмовилися від використання Airbus Helicopters H225.
Проблему з підшипниками називають причиною ще шести інших випадків падіння цих гелікоптер, починаючи з 1980 року.
У 2017 році після зняття заборони на польоти Super Puma компанія повернула їх у продаж і повідомила, що неполадки усунуті.

Helicopter with the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which crashed in Brovary, was bought by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Avakov in France in 2020.
On the morning of January 18, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine crashed in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region. As a result, all nine people on board died, including Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, five representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and three crew members.
During the fall, the helicopter hit a kindergarten building and a high-rise building, killing several people on the ground, including children.
The helicopter is an Airbus H225 Super Puma. Poland and Norway refused it.
According to the information of the State Emergency Service, the EU-225 helicopter (flight number 54) crashed in Brovary. It was received by Ukrainian rescuers from France in 2020.
In 2018, Ukraine and France signed an agreement on the purchase of 55 Airbus helicopters, 21 of which are the H225 model. To create a unified system of aviation security and civil protection, the first two H225 Super Puma helicopters arrived in Ukraine in December of the same year, and by 2021, France had already handed over 16 helicopters. They were aimed at the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular the National Guard and the State Emergency Service. The State Emergency Service used these aircraft to extinguish large-scale fires and other emergency situations.
French helicopters were not new. According to the contract, the H225 machines were in use in 2009-2012 and had an average wear rate of 50% of the main units and aggregates.
Such helicopters are used by a number of Western countries. After the sale to Ukraine, they were repaired, retrofitted, and also modernized for search and rescue operations.
In 2018, the French media wrote about lawsuits against the French company Airbus Helicopters, because their helicopters were found to have an “inherent” defect, in which they can sometimes lose a propeller in flight, suffering from a “potentially catastrophic structural failure”. Such conclusions were reached by experts after the plane crash with this helicopter off the coast of Scotland in 2009, when 14 people crashed.
About 10 years ago, Norway ordered a batch of EC225LP Super Puma helicopters from Airbus to fly North Sea drilling rigs. However, in April 2016, one of the helicopters crashed, killing 12 people. Experts have said that a serious problem involving damaged bearings has been found in the Super Puma helicopter’s gearbox. After that, Norway and Poland stopped using Airbus Helicopters H225.
A bearing problem has been cited as the cause of six other crashes of these helicopters since 1980.
In 2017, after the ban on Super Puma flights was removed, the company put them back on sale and stated that the problems had been fixed.
